Dit complex woningen is losjes geïnspireerd op de woningen van Jan Wils aan de Papaverhof in Den Haag. En Jan Wils (architect van het Olympisch Stadion in Amsterdam) was een bewonderaar van Frank Lloyd Wright. Daarom zien we die invloed ook hier: een speelse symmetrie gecombineerd met het horizontaal en verticaal ineenschuiven van rechthoekige volumes. Al zijn hier de volumes op de begane grond uitgevoerd als afgeronde trommels.
