De opdracht betreft een UAV-GC contract inclusief onderhoud en energie voor de komende 25 jaar.
Het consortium bestaat uit bouwbedrijf Kreeft, Installatiebedrijf ITN, cepezed architecten, Huisman & van Muijen en DGMR.
Het Technova college bestaat uit de renovatie van een bestaand gebouw met daarom heen een nieuwbouw.
De bestaande bouw betreft de lokalen en praktijkruimten voor ICT en Beeld & geluid.
De nieuwbouw betreft voornamelijk de praktijkruimten voor Motorvoertuigentechniek, Mechatronica en Bouwkunde, alsmede een theater, kantine en de innovatieve werkplaats.
The complex is connected to the district heating network, fueled by biomass.
A comprehensive ventilation system regulating CO2 has been applied.
All lighting consists of LED; in addition, various security installations are provided.
The design provides for a "smart loop" in which all technical provisions run. Depending on the (future) function, more or less ventilation can be provided, providing extra electricity, compressed air and data.
