Architect Jan A. van der Laan, die ook het oude en nieuwe Stadhuisplan maakte en het gehele wederopbouwplan voor Eindhoven voor zijn rekening nam, was huisarchitect van C&A en heeft voor en na de oorlog talloze vestigingen ontworpen. Deze vestiging werd in 1952 gebouwd en in 2020 gerenoveerd.
