Het tot De Lichttoren omgedoopte voormalige Philips hoofdkantoor heeft nog steeds markante grote ramen en typische versieringen.
Het zevenhoekige helverlichte torentje waar ooit de gloeilampen werden getest, is nog steeds een baken in de stad.
AWG Architecten transformeerde het witte fabriekspand tot een veelzijdig gebouw met contrasterende nieuwbouw. Hierin zijn128 lofts gerealiseerd: van sociale huur tot dure koop. Samen met publieke functies als winkels en een hotel is Eindhoven een levendige plek rijker.
