The Allianz Arena is a football stadium with a 75,00 seating capacity. It's located in Munich, Germany and it's the first stadium in the world with a full colour changing exterior. It is known for its unique exterior design which exists of inflated ETFE plastic panels.
These plastic panels can be separately managed to be illuminated in the colours, white, red and light blue. These are the main colours of the two main soccer teams housed in this stadium.
The exterior design resonates with the open environment in which this stadium is build. With this unique exterior design, it has become an eye catcher for tourists all around the world.
The changing colours of this stadium makes this building a rather impressive urban monument.
