Amsterdamse poort is een groot winkelcentrum in Amsterdam Zuid Oost. Cluster 8 is een van de zelfstandige clusters binnen dit centrum. Het winkelcentrum in dit gedeelte bestaat uit 1086 m2 aan algemene ruimtes (excl. winkels) en beschikt over eigen centrale technische installaties.
Herman de Groot Ingenieurs heeft voor dit project de expert werkzaamheden verricht door de BREEAM In-Use creditlijst uit te werken (Asset en Beheer). Daarbij is bewijslast beoordeeld, verzameld en verantwoord in een BREEAM IN-Use Rapportage.
Vervolgens heeft Herman de Groot Ingenieurs een second opinion (Quick scan) naar de benodigde aanpassingen aan de technische installaties uitgevoerd.
Uiteindelijk heeft dit in 2013 geleidt tot een BREEAM IN-Use certificaat (Asset en Beheer), Very Good en Excellent, 3 sterren en 4 sterren.
