Dit gebouw dateert uit 1968 en is een van de grootste researchgebouwen van de Campus. Bij de renovatie zijn interieur en gevel weer geheel aangepast aan de huidige tijd, met behoud van de kenmerken van de wederopbouwarchitectuur.
Een representatieve entree was gewenst en die is verrassend genoeg in de kelder gelegen. De entree is in wezen uitgerekt tot een luie, lange en door een glazen volume overdekte trap die de bezoeker naar de liften leidt.
