Het bestaande recreatiebad met zijn circusachtige tentdaken moest worden uitgebreid met een heus wedstrijdbad van internationale allure. Daarvoor is een geheel eigen vormconcept gehanteerd, dat bestaat uit een samenspel van grotere en kleinere volumes waar een gebogen dak omheen is gevouwen.
