In dit gebouw is de invloed van de Zwitserse architect Choisy op van Embden duidelijk merkbaar aan de manier waarop de betonconstructie in de vorm van verticale schijven is vormgegeven. De sterke plastische geleding van het gebouw en het gebaar in de drie ruimterichtingen bij de ingang, te weten de loopbrug, de liftschacht en de raamuitbouw, leveren een overtuigende demonstratie op van het ruimtelijk vermogen van deze architect.
