Deze woningen zijn gelegen aan de oevers van de oude beek De Rundgraaf die hier ‘stroomt’. In feite is het niet meer dan een nat beekdal, dat slechts zelden stromend water bevat. De bedoeling was ooit om de tuinen naadloos te laten overgaan in de oeverbegroeiing, maar de bewoners hebben zich daar uiteindelijk niet veel van aangetrokken.
